Terms and Conditions


We aim to dispatch orders within 48 hours of order being received (this is working days* only) if you order large quantities of individual items there may be delays as we get items made up, if  there are any issues or long delays we will contact you directly via e-mail to update you. Please allow up to 10 working days for your order to be dispatched before contacting us.

*working days is Monday to Friday only

Tiered Prices

We now offer tiered prices to all customers, the costing of induvial items will be shown in the basket. There are minimum order amounts to qualify. The more you spend the more you will save per item. Prices are correct as per the website calculations.  If items are out of stock and not available for back order, prices will not be guaranteed. All prices are based on order amounts placed on that date and will not be carried over.

stock levels and Items on Back-order

Each item will show the current stock levels (any items where this does not show will be updated as we stock check) depending on the item you may or may not be able to back order. Back -order will only be available on items that can be sourced quickly. Any orders where there is an item(s) on back order WILL NOT be dispatched until all items are in stock. 

You will only be able to order the amounts that are in stock, and back order options are at our discretion and we will endeavour to give ETA’s where possible to help you make an informed decision. Please note that any ETA’s are not guaranteed they just give estimated time of arrival, the actual date can change if there are any delays at manufacturing stage.

If you request that we send the backorder stock separately you will be charged the extra postage, this will also be completely at our discretion and we will only allow in extreme circumstances. If you need other items urgently we would suggest that you order any items on back order at a later date when back in stock to reduce confusion or any issues that may arise.


We use both Royal Mail and Courier for delivery of our goods. Our preferred courier is DPD but this can differ from country to country. Please be aware that most couriers will not deliver to PO Boxes, so ensure that your delivery address is accessible.


Dependant on the size and weight of the package, we find that Royal mail is the quickest way to send packages and generally will send small packages this way. All items will be sent 1st class signed for and we will be able to provide tracking numbers if any delays. Most items for Royal Mail are delivered the following day, and usually within 48hrs of dispatch. In 2020/21 due to the Pandemic there have been delays please be patient.

Items sent via courier will be sent via DPD, they collect the next working day and usually deliver the next working day after collection. I do need to ensure that there will be someone in the office for collection. We will share your e-mail and contact details with the courier so that you will be kept up to date with when your package will be delivered.


All orders will be sent via courier, the courier is dependent on the country and costing, our preferred courier is DPD but we do use others including UPS, FedEx and TNT. We will share your e-mail, telephone number and contact details with the chosen courier in order to keep you up to date with the status of your package and you can be contacted directly if any delays or issues.

Cutoms and import fees

Simply Scissors are not responsible for any import duty or custom fees incurred when sending packages to you. Any packages returned due to fees not being paid, we will not refund postage or any fees which we maybe asked to pay. Couriers will contact you directly with details of any fees due.


All payments are taken at time of ordering via our secure payment system run by Stripe. We do not hold any of your card details in the office. You will receive confirmation of your payment and order once confirmed.


For faulty items you must contact us within 14 days of receipt preferably with pictures via e-mail. We do request items to be returned to us and we will exchange them. We do check items prior to dispatch and faulty items are rare, however if there are issues please contact us.

Privacy Policy

We at Simply Scissors know that you care how information about you is used and shared and we appreciate your trust in us to do that carefully and sensibly. We never disclose your information to any third parties without your expressed permission. (please see above regarding courier)

Environmental policy

We operate a environmentally-friendly policy of re-using appropriate, good quality boxes and packaging for despatching orders, if we have no packaging to reuse, we use recyclable bubble wrap and filler which can be re-used by yourself or recycled at curb side. We hope you will join us by re using our packaging once you receive it.
